Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland in April???Yea , on April 12!I think the spring got lost in Antarctica.I am tired waiting for it,this year. The warm weather comes to tease us for a couple days and then the polar bears come down from Canada again bringing snow and ice.Well, what can we do?The last four pictures are from a week ago.My kid and I took a nice walk enjoying the warm weather taking tons of pictures and having lots of fun.The puddle is heart shaped! Can you see that? And the purple crocuses bloom in our garden.Their color is sooo beautiful! Can you spot the little birdie in the first picture?

Relax!
Time to take a deep breath and relax.Sometimes it takes everything out of you to meet the other people's needs. With this kind of job and a family to take care of.At the end of the week you do not have anything left.So the main goal for this gloomy weekend is to relax and find some inner peace.
This doodle/drawing was completed last summer just for fun while watching my favourite talk shows.

Sunday
A quiet weekend at home. When it gets cold it is time to slow down. And it feels good.Just making home made pizza for my daughter's sleepover, watching the guinea pigs play, watching TV and reading blogs. And dreaming about a new camera!I hope soon! This illustration of mine was completed in the summer.Ink pen and watercolor pencils.

Studies of birds
Today I am posting a couple of drawings of birds with a pencil.I did them at the end of August.
Through my face book account I happened to come across one girl's beautiful album of photos. Her name is Isabel Cristina Para and she is such a talented photographer.I do not know where she lives and what she does for living but I loved her pictures of birds and flowers and I used them to do some pencil studies of birds.
I can not give you any link to her page so you can go and see her pictures for yourself because it is kind of hard to find her on face book.I typed her name there and the search engine gave me about a hundred people with a similar name and none of them was her.I had to find out whose friend of my friends in face book she was to be able to go back to her page.
