A new jacket for my Nooky
Sick and miserable yesterday, feeling better today but still having a long way to full recovery. This cold got me really bad.So I am spending my weekend relaxing, watching movies on u-tube and crafting. The kid is on a sleep over again, her favourite thing. It is unusually quiet in the house. As I mentioned crafting I would like to share the case I made for my Nook Tablet.I live on a budget and can't afford to spend too much money on a case so I came up with this one.If you like it you can crochet yourself one.It is so simple. If you have questions you can ask me I would be more than glad to answer.

Christmas decorations
The time before Christmas is the time of making, the time of never ending inspiration.Ideas from magazines, ideas from the web, stores and craft shows.I can't
tell who inspired me for those handmade decorations but whoever it was I say
tell who inspired me for those handmade decorations but whoever it was I say"Thank you".So,I used leftover yarn and beads from my daughter's collection. At the moment they are outside decorating a bare bush in our yard.It is actually very cute .If I don't forget I will take a picture and post it later.

New project-my crazy afghan
Inspired by the book I wrote about
in the previous post I started a new project,an afghan I would make with the leftover yarn I have lying around the house.I don't know when I will finish it but I love the freedom of experimenting with colors, texture and patterns. You can see the beginning in this picture.

This Weekend
I had a nice weekend.Went shopping with my family, bought a new vacuum cleaner, ate at a Chinese restaurant, watched the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, watched You've Got Mail for maybe seventh or seventeenth time, worked on some knitting and crocheting projects.Have I mentioned before I love to watch winter sports and my favourite is figure skating?I am not happy with the way they covered the games this year-not enough figure skating for sure.
Some of the things I am working on will soon be listed in my Etsy shop.
