Random post
Random post with random pictures from my fall. Snippets from my life. The ground is covered with snow but astronomically it is still fall.A fall that was warm and sunny not long ago and now it is freezing cold and snowy. My life is busy and exhausting at the moment and it was kind of surprise to myself to find time to blog.I am usually so tired that I prefer to do something more passive like reading a book or going on my tablet.I am so glad that I am back to reading Surprisingly I sometimes menage to do some sketching but forget to take pictures of my sketches. This is why my sketch is back from August.

Sketches from the airport-2
Some more sketches I did at the airport in Chicago while people watching and waiting for my next flight back in May.I can't forget that extremely sweet dog, so happy and well behaved.I wish I had such a cutie like her.

Some sketches
Some random pages from my sketchbook. They are old from February.
They were inspired by pictures from Facebook and the Internet. Thanks to the photographers.
I am in a creative block at the moment and trying to bring back my inspiration looking at old staff of mine. The wonderful weather outside does not help very much.I take a lot of pictures but it feels not right not to draw.

My Winter Olympics
It is too sad that the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi are already over.During this endless and frigid winter they were like a ray of sunshine and joy for me.I love to watch winter sports especially figure skating and downhill skiing.I was glued to the TV whenever I had some time...or whenever my daughter would let me have the TV.I did some sketches while watching the games and also took some pictures from the TV mainly for reference. The opening and the closing ceremonies were epic. The Russians did a great job organizing the games although there were some concerns at the beginning.

Sketches and doodles #152,153 and 154
Three more doodles and sketches from my last year not very successful challenge. All of them were done during my morning break at work. The first one is pure imagination, the second one was inspired by the girl cleaning around the cafeteria during my break and the third one is obvious-a small bag of M&Ms.

#66,67 and 68
#66 and 68 have been done in a hurry at work during my morning break. With ballpoint pen.I don't know what to call them -sketches or...doodles
.They are rough and awkward but anyway it is a good way to practice observation and drawing. I think a part of this challenge is to teach me how to let myself to be imperfect and go on with my life instead of being paralyzed by any unsuccessful line or painting. Just put it aside and try again, dear! Or try something new!

At The Park
I drew this sketch at the beginning of this month.I went to pick up my daughter from school with the intention to take her for a walk as the fall day was wonderful, warm and bright. We could not go farther than the school park which was bursting with kids and parents enjoying the beautiful weather. When my little one went to play with the other kids I noticed this girl reading her book bathed by the bright afternoon sunshine and did a quick sketch of her.I used an ink pen Millennium to do the sketch and later at home I finished it with watercolor pencils and a water brush.Sunday, August 31, 2008
Sketches
There hasn't been much time for art recently.I am getting ready for my trip to Bulgaria in September and I am too excited to sit and paint.I had some troubles in connection with that trip.I realised that I lost my daughter's passport 20 days before the trip and I was very upset about that. But now everything is OK.It appeared that if you use a travel agency services they can issue a new passport within ten days. And also my daughter had a birthday the other day and I was busy getting ready for her party. The party turned out to be a big success and my little girl said it was the best birthday party she ever had .
These two sketches of her are from the last year.I have some new ones but I have to take pictures of them and upload them in the computer.
