Illustration Friday:Swim - 2

This is my second submission for this week's topic Swim.The two drawings were completed in ink and watercolor pencils and all out of my imagination.

I started thinking about participating in Illustration Friday challenges.I need something to motivate me to do more of the things I love to do.Do not have time?Do small things!That is the answer.When my daughter was a small baby I did not have much time but I started an art journal in which I drew,sketched and wrote on a small scale.I experimented with different materials and technicks and tried new ideas.It kept me motivated ,inspired and going and most of all happy!These three sketches are from the last summer.Ink ans watercolor pencils.

Doodles and drawings #147,148 and 149

They are just three quickies.I could do better for sure.But that is what one can get for the few minutes during her break at work.Today was a good day.Beautiful weather, almost all my chores done,talked to a friend on Skype,my kid is getting more independent,my diet is working.What else could I wish for?

#69 and 70

I am desperately behind.Thoughts of quitting started appear at the back of my mind.Trying to brush them off and go on.

On The Fifth Day Of Blogging-Beautiful Black Eyes

This is a sketch from yesterday.Did not not do very much yesterday,neither today. Just a couple of sketches,the other one is not completely finished.

Working on my Etsy shop

I did not have time to paint and draw the last couple of weeks,neither to post in here.I was trying to figure out how to set up an Etsy shop.Finally it is done and I have a couple of things listed.I still have tons of things to learn-for example how to put an Etsy button on my blogs but I will solve this problem too.

An Old Sketch

I am in a creative block now.I do not have anything new to post so I am offering this old sketch.It had been done in one of my sketchbooks with Millennium ink pen.

Just A Drawing

It is an old one , just a drawing with an ink pen Micron.I haven't done any new ones.The last day off I spent in front of the TV watching the inauguration of the new president Barak Obama.It was really exciting.Could have done some sketches but did not feel like that.For today I planned to paint with acrylics but my daughter is at home, sick with a cold and I will try to do some sketches.

Sonya Watching Barny

This is another page of my art journal- a double sketch of my daughter at the age of three.

I am not in a mood of painting today- too busy getting ready for Christmas.I have to wrap some presents ,to get the stoking fillers ready,to write and send some cards to relatives here in town and so on little things that are time consuming.

I will be happy if I have a little time for a sketch or a mixed media something.I have finished three mixed media cards which I would call inspirational cards but I haven't found the time to upload them in the computer and post them in my blog.

It is still very cold outside as it was the last three days.This morning when I took my daughter to school it was 6 bellow zero.It felt cold but not so bad.There was not any wind which was nice.I don't want to sound crazy but I love winter,especially the winter sunny and snowy days.

Two More Sketches

These are the last two sketches from my trip to Bulgaria.The first one is of a little girl on a slide and the other one of my daughter in the sand box.We practically spent all our time at parks and children's play grounds.

Sketches

There hasn't been much time for art recently.I am getting ready for my trip to Bulgaria in September and I am too excited to sit and paint.I had some troubles in connection with that trip.I realised that I lost my daughter's passport 20 days before the trip and I was very upset about that.But now everything is OK.It appeared that if you use a travel agency services they can issue a new passport within ten days.
And also my daughter had a birthday the other day and I was busy getting ready for her party.The party turned out to be a big success and my little girl said it was the best birthday party she ever had .
These two sketches of her are from the last year.I have some new ones but I have to take pictures of them and upload them in the computer.

Watching TV

This is a sketch of my daughter Sonya watching TV.It is one of my favorite .It is in my 2006/2007 sketchbook.I drew it in November 2007 with ink pen Millenium ,I guess #3. I am not very good at keeping track of my materials.
