Illustration Friday:Refrain
My input for this week's Illustration Friday topic Refrain. I guess I covered the second meaning of this word: repeating a verse or a group of verses throughout a song or a poem. I do not know what she is singing about but she looks like she is enjoying it. Ink pen and watercolor.

Illustration Friday:Tail
This week's topic at Illustration Friday is TAIL. It was not hard to decide what to draw. As we are a cat family I have my long tailed models available whenever I feel like sketching. And here I come with an overload of cat illustrations and sketches in different media and styles. I hope you enjoy them.

Illustration Friday:Underwater
I was wondering if I should post the first one or not because it is not my cup of tea. Not my style at all.I was just experimenting with this kind of doodling and I was surprised how much fun I had.I felt liberated. The second one was completed straight with the brush.

Illustration Friday:Onomatopoeia
This week's topic: Onomatopoeia. It apparently means imitating sounds in written form. So I wonder what does the fox say. Have you heard the song? My daughter's been crazy about it since she heard it on Ellen DeGeneres show. I am getting tired of it as she plays/and sings/ it every day. So, what does the fox say? Wapa pa pa pa pa papaw?

Illustration Friday: Together
I did this illo back in August. It illustrates very well the topic of this week Together but it was not done with that topic in mind. Every time I had the urge to draw and did not have any idea I would do an illustration about the joys of summer. So one of the joys of summer is to pick up your own apples straight from the tree. You and your little sister, together.

Illustration Friday:Hidden
My submission for this week's topic Hidden .He was hidden in the woods ,evil, hungry and lonely. His life completely changed since the moment he met that strong little girl in the red hood. Now he is happy, fed and friendly and he follows her everywhere. But it is a different story.

Illustration Friday: Power
This is my submission for this week's topic Power. It illustrates the powerful bond between a person and her dog. The love between a person and a pet can be so strong that in moments of danger they can risk their lives to save each other. This one is an old doodle that I did back in June but I like how it turned out and would like to share it with you. The girl in it also reminds me about my step daughter Alana who loves animals so much ,especially the dogs, so she goes to school to become a vet technician.

Illustration Friday:Children
This is my second submission for this week's topic: Children. The topic is one of my favorite ones. I bet I have hundreds of drawings of children in my sketchbooks but I appreciate Illustration Friday for the motivation and the inspiration it gives me to draw more. Most of my submissions are new ones and this one too.

Illustration Friday:Liquid
I did this illustration long ago in January. I was going to post it for the topic Ocean but something happened and I was late. So here it is with this week's topic Liquid. I can interpret this illustration like ; we should try to see the big picture of our life and not exaggerate the little hardships in it. If we are patient future always brings us something better.
