October!!!...Already...?

I can't believe it is October already! But it seems to me I say it every time a season or a month changes.Time flies so fast isn't it?It is real fall now with all its glamour.I think I already mentioned that before,it is my favorite season.I love its gorgeous colors and light, especially when the sun shines.
And it is such fun to ride your bike down the bike trail through the fall colored woods!!!I love the foggy mornings when the fog creates such magical images.I love the fall because it's the time when the school starts with all kinds of activities and there is no bored kids in the house anymore. And also the soup season begins!!!!I looove me some beef soup with cabbage, potatoes and looots of carrots!

Spooky times

I do not care for Halloween too much but my daughter is obsessed with it. So she was the main driving force behind this year's Halloween decorating process .
I am so proud of my pumpkins. They grew up in my little garden. This year the experiment was successful!!! I started the pumpkin plants on a window sill in March. In  May when I planted them outside they were already strong and healthy plants and no slugs could damage them. I was so happy watching them grow the whole summer. I could not believe how much joy and satisfaction a couple of plants could bring. I am so doing it again next summer.

Postcards of my fall

I had a hard and busy week ,last week. Trying to stay afloat and and meet the demands of life were my main goals.Let's hope this coming one would be easier.Anyway despite the hardships of life I took a few moments to enjoy the beauty of my favourite season, fall, and to smile at Spider man washing the windows of the Clinic.Thank you Spider man for the smiles.

Indian Summer

To compensate for the gloomy, cold and rainy September this month came with a warm and bright Indian Summer. The temperatures hit the record. The sunshine is so warm and friendly and there is that sweet smell of dying leaves and ripe fruit in the air.So much beauty around us that I try to savor every single moment of this beautiful time of the year.
