Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland in April???Yea , on April 12!I think the spring got lost in Antarctica.I am tired waiting for it,this year.The warm weather comes to tease us for a couple days and then the polar bears come down from Canada again bringing snow and ice.Well,what can we do?The last four pictures are from a week ago.My kid and I took a nice walk enjoying the warm weather taking tons of pictures and having lots of fun.The puddle is heart shaped!Can you see that?And the purple crocuses bloom in our garden.Their color is sooo beautiful!Can you spot the little birdie  in the first picture?

They say there are two seasons in Minnesota-winter and road works.Well,we are in the second one at the moment.My DH was late for work at least 3-4 times during the last half a month.They start so early in the morning and make you wait between 5 and 10 min.Don't mind it on my way back home ,but in the morning when every minute counts it is frustrating.
Let's hope they will be done soon.
I like the sign of the car though.It is cute.Yeah,can't wait to follow you!

Indian Summer

To compensate for the gloomy,cold and rainy September this month came with a warm and bright Indian Summer.The temperatures hit the record.The sunshine is so warm and friendly and there is that sweet smell of dying leaves and ripe fruit in the air.So much beauty around us that I try to savor every single moment of this beautiful time of the year.

:)Rainy Monday

Sometimes my dining room table looks like this. Actually most of the time.We are a creative family.At least some of us.
It has been raining the whole day today and my kid and I were stuck at home.Of course she drew pictures, wrote in her journal,watched TV and played on the computer and I drew a little bit.Too bad the light was no good and I could not take pictures.
I had to make a hard decision today,too and when I finally made up my mind I felt a huge relief.
And also talked on Skype to a friend I had not seen or talked for about twenty years.We were very good friends but life scattered us in different parts of the world and we lost touch with each other.
She had always broth me a good luck in the past so I hope our reunion in this hard moment of my life is a good sign.
