This beautiful card from my collection of vintage cards says it all. I wish to all of you who visit ,read and leave a comment in my blog 365 happy, creative and successful days in the New 2010 year.

Just decided to share some of the handmade decorations on our Christmas tree. They have been made by me with a little help of my daughter.
The sculptured Santa is made out of Sculpey clay and it was inspired by a Hallmark Christmas decoration.I had to bake it in my toaster oven and painted it with acrylic paints. The other felt heart and the Christmas tree were a team effort.I was trying to teach my daughter how to sew by hand,so I had to hold the cloth for her and make sure she did not poke her fingers.
And here she came. The blizzard that started slowly yesterday afternoon. It snowed the whole night and the whole day today. And it is pretty windy out there. It is loosing its strength and I hope it is going to clear up tomorrow. But today there was no school ,no daycare and we could not make it to work.Judging by the cars in front of our neighbours houses we were not the only ones stranded in the house.

Last weekend my daughter was in a crafty Christmasy mood.
Today I was busy listing some greeting cards in my etsy shop. Both sets include two original /handmade/ cards and one printed one of design of my own. I really had fun creating them.I have more ideas and some more are coming to the shop.

I am the proud and excited owner of an Etsy shop.I opened it in the middle of this month and I already had one sale!
I did not have time to paint and draw the last couple of weeks, neither to post in here.I was trying to figure out how to set up an Etsy shop. Finally it is done and I have a couple of things listed.I still have tons of things to learn-for example how to put an Etsy button on my blogs but I will solve this problem too.
